I don't know about you, but I'm getting tired of seeing the same art that we've had in the header for the last three years... Let's get some new art!!

It's back and better than ever!

I'm going to start doing a series of articles on how to do various things on the site. The more you folks can do, the better the site is going to be. After all, this is your site...

If you're got an event coming up that you want to tell the world about, use the event calendar to spread the word! It's really easy!

Really! Even a cartoonist can do it! (See what I mean about easy?) Once you've mastered a few minor bits and pieces, you'll be posting and publicizing events with ease!

After a bit of long overdue tinkering, I've been able to restore the original look of this site, as well as add a few new features. Check out the feed of stories currently featured on The Daily Cartoonist to the right of the page!

I thought I had the avatar function turned on, but I didn't. Now that it's fixed, Chapter Members can upload an image for yourself, up to 100x100 pixels, to represent you. It can be JPEG, PNG, or GIF.

That's right. A new site.

I've been wanting to get a new site up and running for a while. I had been dissatisfied with the old PostNuke software, and had been looking for a better solution. I found it in a package called Drupal.

As you look around, you'll see a lot that looks like it always did. There's a forum, and a calendar of events. There's also the ability to post stories, so feel free to go right ahead and start writing!

Actually, it only took one monkey. Me.

Yup. While attempting to update the site, I ended up deleting the entire database for the site. It's now living in Silicon Heaven, where good data goes when it dies.
