This comes via Steve Haynie:

Nacho Bear, a series of 2 minute cartoon shorts that Art Roche pitched last year as part of an in-house search, was selected by Cartoon Network. The shorts will make their “network debut” this Sunday, June 8, from 12:00-6:00 as part of a marathon of their regular cartoons.

We All Know Jack!

A small hearty band ventured forth on a quest... to destroy the Ring... No wait... wrong quest.

Start over... A small hearty band ventured forth from Atlanta on Friday, March 7th, to see a living legend in the flesh. They were not disappointed. This photo was snapped of SECNCS members getting to meet cartooning and illustration legend (and all-round swell guy) Jack Davis at the University of Georgia's Jack Davis Lecture Series.

More pictures and details coming soon!

Charlotte Group Update

Since I was "denied access" to the Charlotte group forum page(or, more likely- I don't know HOW to access the page); I wanted to post the link to the Charlotte "By George" group web page with our most recent meeting update.
Here it is: http://homepage.mac.com/artistgreg/ByGeorge.html

In the most recent newsletter, Greg tells how the Charlotte group surely must be "hiding" from newcomer Jack Chapman; one of the 'anchors" who recently moved here from the Memphis group.
