Just saw over on Mike Lynch's Blog and The Daily Cartoonist that Mel Casson has passed away at 87. He has been the daily cartoonist on Redeye, the Indian strip for over 20 years. I had the pleasure of meeting him 2 summers ago up in Connecticut. For you military buffs, he was awarded 2 Bronze Stars and 2 Purple Hearts. He was a class act.
