I know some of you have already talked to John Read, the editor of the new Stay Tooned Magazine, but for those of you who don't know about him or have only heard rumors that there's a guy trying to bring us something to fill the void left when Cartoonist ProFiles went- the new magazine is up and going:

The premiere issue focuses on Cartoonists in the Southeast, so there are some friendly names in there (Marcus Hamilton, John Rose, Scott Stantis... other folks you've met) Mr. Read's gonna need help kicking this thing up to the point where it's a thriving publication. Give him a hand for getting this first big issue out, and give him a hand by buying said issue for yourself and for any friends with aspirations or with a birthday coming up. Plus, since we're all workin' cartoonists here, and the man's going to need CONTENT, and we all need PROMOTION... well, contact him with your life story and your career tales- no reason you shouldn't be in a future issue, right?
