I've been in contact with an aspiring cartoonist up North- 'round Providence, I think. Giving him advice and opinions on his comic strip- ClamCakes- that runs in a paper or two up there, I believe.

He's going to be getting some pro advice from our ol' pal Guy Gilchrist soon, but I've told him about our little forum here and hopefully he'll post some of his strips for critique and all.

I'm sure I'm not the only one helping out with comic strips here and there. Mr. Ollie, for one, has some folks he's offering advice to, I'll bet. More than likely, Jack Pittman, Marcus Hamilton, John Rose and lots of the others are playing mentor for some fortunate few.

Send 'em here, if they're willing! I've already told ClamCakes creator Jerry that most opinions and remarks he gets here will be contradictory to my own- and what better way to learn?
